The main requirements you will need to meet to qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa will be the following:
Obtain a job offer from a UK based company who hold a sponsor licence issued by the UK government entitling them to employ foreign nationals in the UK.
The job you are being offered must qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa in terms of its difficulty level and the level of salary you are being offered.
The company offering you a job in the UK, known as your sponsor, must issue you with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
You will need to pass an English language requirement which you can do as follows: a. By being a national of a majority English speaking country (eg. USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc). b. By holding a degree that was taught in English and is equivalent to at least a UK bachelor degree. c. By having passed an English language test approved by the UK government.
You will need to prove that you have held at least £1,270 in your savings or current account every day for 28 days preceding the date you submit your Skilled Worker Visa application. If your sponsor certifies in your CoS that they will cover your maintenance you will not be required to show any funds available to you.
Once you have lived in the UK for 5 years on your Skilled Worker Visa you will become eligible to apply for permanent residence in the UK. 12 months after you have obtained permanent residence you will qualify to apply for British citizenship.
I used Gavin’s services in order to obtain my UK Skilled Worker visa. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and communicated brilliantly. He answered every question I had and, most importantly, my visa came through without a hitch. Using his services took the stress completely out of what could have been a very stressful process.
